This cake has many names all around the world for example jelly rolls, Swiss roll, but in Sweden it is called rulltårta. It is a simple sponge cake which is one of the classical cakes to make when you will have guest coming over. This is the base recipe but it is possible to make it more like a dessert cake with whip cream and fruits.

This creamy rice pudding with cinnamon will make you kitchen smell wonderful while cooking it. Many people eat the milk rice cold, but it can be served warm as well, depending of the season. It is common to serve it as a dessert, but why not have it for breakfast on a Sunday morning.

Traditional chocolate chip muffins with a twist of hazelnuts taste. You can choose to make the muffins big or small dependent on how you like them. The most important is that the muffins are moist and have crunchy chocolate bites inside.

Homemade French Alsatian Christmas cookies with the taste of vanilla. These cookies can already be made in the beginning of November and kept in a tin box with baking paper before being served around Christmas. However, it is unlikely that these small delicious treats will last that long!

These Alsatian Christmas cookies are shaped as mini bretzels and topped with a sweet glazing. The glaze can be made with any taste you prefere. It is common to make these cookies long in advance before Christmas, as early as in November. This has to do with that the cookies are usally placed in a tin box with a baking paper.

A homemade Italian Christmas cake filled with dried fruit. The story is that the raisins should bring you and your guest good fortune, the oranges happiness in love, and your own choice of dried fruits good health. It is often served together with warm wine or a sweet drink, accompanied of a lemon mascarpone cheese on the side.

Homemade small cinnamon French Christmas cookies from the region Alsace. Slightly soft cookies with a chewy inside. These cookies are made according to the vanilla snowball bredele recipe, but I added cinnamon powder. To get different flavors you can change the cinnamon powder to gingerbread spices, cardamom and so on. Good luck and happy baking.

This apple pie is not an ordinary crumble pie, as it tastes more like the apples are covered with a soft cookie blanket than the normal pie crumbles. Serve the pie in single portion bowls to make a nice presentation. To enhance the flavor, you can serve the pie together with vanilla sauce or ice cream.
