Cook the rice according to the instructions of the package.
Peel and cut the onions in small pieces.
Wash and cut the celery in slices.
Wash and cut the tomatoes in quarters.
Wash and peel away the seeds from the peppers, cut in strips.
Cut the chicken fillets and sausages in pieces.
Heat up a big wok pan with 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Fry on medium heat the vegetables for 10 minutes.
Add the minced garlic clove and cook for 2 more minutes.
Add the sausages and chicken fillets and cook for 5 minutes. Take away the sausages and set aside for later.
Continue cooking the food until the chicken is fried.
Add the thyme, tomatoes, parsley, and the spices. Mix everything gently.
Add the broth and the rice in the stew. Mix every and cover the pan with a lid and let simmer on low heat for 40 minutes.
At the end add the sausages and the shrimps and cook for approximately 5 minutes or until the shrimps are getting orange in the color.
