This is a dish made with camembert cheese, potatoes, onion and bacon and fits perfect on a cold winter day. The original dish tartiflette is made with reblochon cheese instead of camembert cheese. It’s a heavy dish so a green salad and a French baguette is all you need on the side.

These homemade sauerkraut rolls are a treat for both the eyes and mouth. These small little treats fits perfect as a starter or a small side dish together with a small green salad. The extra time you will put on preparing the sauerkraut your self will make them taste even delicious.
This is a French country classic in the autumn when you can find both rabbit legs and chanterelles in the shops. This is a different recipe that will surprise your dinner guest. The trick to success is to cook the meat slowly on low heat, otherwise it will become dry quickly.
A terrine is really easy to make and resemble old traditional country food your grandparents use to serve. This one is maybe not the most common one but really delicious. It is best served cold as a starter, or a side dish together with pickles and and potatoes.
