After my son read about owls in school, I wanted to surprise him with this special lunchbox. He was very happy when he came back home and said his friends thought he hade the best lunch of the day. Next time they came by the house they asked if we had some owls sandwiches for snacks. Perfect snack for kids, you can make it with whatever fruits, berries and vegetables you find at home.
Ingredient List for 2 servings:

Toast bread slices

Ham slices

Cheese slices

Carrot

Mini bretzels

Salty bretzel sticks

Salad leaves
Instructions:
Cut away the edge of the bread slices.
Cut a v -shape on the top middle.
Butter the bread slices on one side each.
Place 2 ham slices on one of the bread, continue with 1 ham slice and finish with 2 more cheese slices.
Place a second bread slice on top.
Divide the left over ham in half and place om the middle of the bread, place the round side down.
Cut slices of the banana and place as eyes.
Place blueberries in the middle of each banana slices.
Cut the apple in slices and place as wings, have the round sides outwards.
Put the mini bretzels as claws in the middle bottom part of the bread.
Peel and cut a triangle piece of the carrot. Place as a beak.
Decorate a plate with salad leaves as trees tops and mini bretzel sticks ad trees trunk and branches. If your sending the owl in a lunch box, serve the rest of the apple, blueberries and banana to have a full lunch.
