In a bowl mix the dried fruits with the grappa.
Crumble the yeast in a food processor and mix with the milk. Start the food processor on low speed and pour in the eggs, flour and the sugar. Add the margarine and mix until you have a smooth dough.
Place the dough in a bowl and cover it with a baking towel. Place in the oven for 90 minutes.
Take out the dough from the oven and add the dried fruits without the liquid and mix the dough a few minutes by hand.
Cover a baking form with removable edges with a baking paper. Make sure the paper goes above the edges. Place the dough in the form and let it rest until it has double in size.
Preheat the oven at 180 degrees Celsius.
Melt some butter and brush the top of the dough. Sprinkle the almond flakes on top.
Place the cake in the middle of the oven for approx. 40 minutes. Take it out and let it cool down.
