Preheat the oven at 220 degrees Celsius.
Mix well the sugar, syrup and the butter together.
Mix the baking powder in the egg yellow. Add to the sugar mixture.
Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and the flour and mix well to a cookie dough.
Shape long rolls and cut in 10 cm long pieces.
Shape a horseshoe and press a fork on top to get the lines.
Place on a baking paper on a baking sheet.
Place in the middle of the oven for 10 minutes.
Take out and let cool down in room temperature.
